Please for the restoration and healing of relationships

Divorce and relationship issues have been coming up in prayer so let’s keep them in mind while praying for our state and the Church.

When the Bible says one will send a thousand in flight and two will send 10,000 in flight, it is obvious why the enemy would attack our relationships and keep us divided. Some things we should keep in mind as we pray for relationships are the root of the division and healing for irreconcilable relationships (divorces with children that end up in remarriage) so that people can move on without falling back into the same trap.

Healing from relationship issues
Forgiveness/Self-Forgiveness
Protection over families
Spirit of love and holiness over Christians and Church
Believers to walk in Christ-Likeness

PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father,

We praise You and thank You that Your children can come together in love and unity in Christ Jesus! We lift up Your Church and the state of Ohio to You for mercy and grace, according to Your loving kindness, in Jesus’ name!

We pray that You protect all relationships, especially marriages, in Your Church, in Ohio, and all over the world. We pray that You rebuke the spirit of divorce that is deep seated in the Church and in culture. We thank You for stopping the enemy’s plan to steel, kill, and destroy and we thank You that Your says that mercy triumphs over judgment!

We ask that You forgive us for when we have played a role in breaking apart relationships whether our own or those of others. We ask You to give the grace to even forgive ourselves. We ask that You put the cross between us and the law of sewing and reaping and we pray that You empower us to walk in love, purity, truth, and holiness like Your Son Jesus did so that we will NOT enter back into this trap again.

We thank You for healing those relationships and any wounds that came as a result of them. We thank for removing the spirit of offense and any bitterness that has come as a result so that we may walk in love as You has called us to do.

Now to You the Father of Glory, Who is faithful to answer every prayer according to Your will, to be all the honor and glory through Christ Jesus forever and ever!
